Custom Gaiam Yoga Mat giveaway!

I'm so excited about this giveaway...and finally my first post of the new year...because it goes hand in hand with my personal goals for 2011. I really am determined to get healthier and that involves cutting down on stress. Of course its impossible in life to actually remove stress factors but we can let them get to us less.

One way I used to deal with stress all the time was yoga. Before I had Lucy I used to do an hour or more of yoga each day. Now with a 2 year old I can't exactly spend all day doing the brave warrior and sun salutation but I am making it a priority. My FAVORITE yoga products and dvd's have always been by Gaiam. They just seem to have the best quality over all that helps me fully immerse myself and get the maximum bennifits of the workout.

Until I was contacted by Cafepress I had totally missed out on the fact that they sell custom Gaiam yoga mats! I was so thrilled to find that out because when I need a new one I just go to Target and pick up a comfy, but plain, Gaiam mat. Cafepress offers the same Gaiam mats but with super cute graphics. For my review I picked this Army Wife mat. It was such a hard choice because of their huge selection! They have everything from military theme mats to family, animals, and pop culture references. There is literally a yoga mat for any hobby or interest you may have.

My body loves this mat!

I have one of those mats from Target as well..LOVE it

One of my goals for 2011 is to stop being so hard on myself. I have made some great changes in the past few months, but still am hard on myself when I don't meet what I think, are others expectations. So, for this year, I am going to just do me and not worry about everyone else

Oh my goodness - I wish I would have known about these before Christmas - I have lots of friends and family that would love one! I, of course, would love it, too! We got a YMCA family membership after M returned from deployment, and they offer free yoga classes 4 times a week...you'd think I'd be able to make it at least one of those days, right? Nope. But with the new year, I'm bound and determined to make it at least once a week. I need to do something to whip my post-baby body back into shape, and this mat might just give me even more motivation! :)
