For your viewing pleasure...

A friend of mine on Facebook posted this so I had to share it.

There will be tears...but the good kind.

I don't ever look forward to G.I. Joe deploying again or Lucy growing up and missing him more when he's away, but I do look forward to being able to pull off stuff like this.

I had to repost that on FB. And I can't wait to show Matt. I felt so happy and so sad... lots of tears for sure! When I watch things like this, I think... so many normal families take for granted every day when their husbands or dads come home from work. Look what happens when military families are re-united!

Aw I wept watching that! I get to see my soldier today for the first time in a month today, and this made me think of him. Thanks for the laughs!

I've seen this before, and I'm sure I'll watch it again. It makes me cry. Every. Single. Time.

I'm in the same boat as you, I don't look forward to our children growing up (when we have them), or to having to see him off to more deployments, but I completely look forward to being able to pull things like this off and surprise them :)

Aww! Definitely got the tears rolling. Especially the one with the boy on the baseball field.

This is the first time I've left a comment, but I've been following your blog for about 2 months. My husband is in Basic Training right now, and I know that is NOTHING compared to deployment, but it's the hardest thing we've had to go through so far :). We have two small girls, and this video just made me think of when they are going to get to see him! There were definitely A LOT of tears!

Oh gosh, the tears are rolling. Especially since I am SO close to having P home. I keep wondering a little bit if he'd try to pull something like that on me, which would be so amazing and sweet.

Thanks for that! :)

The other day, I was daydreaming in class about my husband's homecoming and wondering what that moment would be like - the first time he sees his son, the first time we get to hug after being apart so long - and I totally had to shake myself out of it because I started tearing up.
This video is adorable. I love it. I love that people thought to share these happy moments - you see so many of the not so happy ones online and on tv. It's lovely to see these families reunited.

Well I'm sitting in the middle of a puddle now... I watched it twice and didn't stop crying the whole time. It's beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing! :)

Not a good idea to watch this in a room full of people. :P

I think about all the ways Steve could suprise me, because I want to be prepared if he ever did. I would lose it. lol

I knew I was going to cry, but I watched it anyway. I cried as soon as the first little girl saw her daddy. I cannot wait to see my soldier! Why did I torture myself with this?! lol
